PACT meal provision at the time of the corona pandemic

Just a big thank you to all of Intabazwe for the incredible support we received from yourselves in this time. We are still feeding at four different stations daily. This is the POP Center (POP = Path Onto Prosperity) in Prince Albert Rondomskrik. Each child was given a mask, we take children's temperatures, practise keeping distance and hand hygiene. We use donated new ice cream containers for their food. The meals are wholesome and we give a cup of yogurt plus a fresh fruit too. At the moment there are between 351 and 400 children eating daily at the above mentioned center. 350 Primary school children eating in Leeu Gamka, 60 ECD children in Klaarstroom and in Prince Albert 69 pensioners who are destitute. The last photo is of four young people who are in grade 12 and have volunteered at the feeding scheme for ten weeks every day. We have started a project this week to reward them by coming alongside them to help them end the year on a strong note in terms of their studies.
